Beyond Next Ventures is a Tokyo deep-tech venture capital firm founded in 2014 by Tsuyoshi Ito. It backs startups built on university and research technology, mainly at seed and early stage, in Japan and India, where it has a Bengaluru subsidiary. It manages about $340 million across multiple funds and leads most of its early rounds. Checks run from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of yen, with up to 2 billion yen in total per company. It also runs the BRAVE accelerator and a shared wet lab in Tokyo.
