Shin founded Cypher Partners and invested at Bluepoint Partners in Korea. The fund backs what it calls third culture founders in the US and very early startups in Vietnam, often as the first check. It closed a $12M first fund in March 2024.
What they invest in
We invest in founders from the earliest stages (often, the first check) and continue to support their long term vision. We believe startups are a marathon, not a sprint.
