NAKA Industries is an advanced recycling company. It uses a patented plastics-to-oil pyrolysis process to turn waste plastic that cannot be recycled mechanically into feedstock for new materials. It was established in 2012 by Jamiel Hampton, Founder and CEO, and Kiyoshi Nakajima, Co-Founder and Director of Engineering, who developed the pyrolysis technology in Japan. The company is advancing its first commercial deployment in Japan and plans to expand into the United States and other markets.
