Rakuten Symphony is the telecom technology business of the Rakuten Group. It sells cloud-native, software-driven network products: Open RAN software, a cloud platform for edge and telecom workloads, and an operations support system with automation and AI. The company says it runs the same products at scale in the group's own mobile network. Rakuten Group launched it in August 2021 and later incorporated it as Rakuten Symphony, Inc.
