Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) is a startup support facility operated by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, positioned as a hub connecting entrepreneurs, innovators and supporters. It offers programs spanning idea development, hardware prototyping, retail testing, pitch events, mentoring and open innovation consulting, and provides support for foreign companies entering Japan. TIB is based in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and counts more than 40 partner organizations, including venture capital firms, corporations and universities.
