UTokyo Innovation Platform (UTokyo IPC) is a venture capital and startup incubation platform wholly owned by the University of Tokyo, founded in 2016 and based on the university's Hongo campus in Tokyo. It invests in deep tech startups across life sciences, space, robotics, IT and AI that aim to resolve social issues, and runs the 1stRound accelerator program. It manages three funds investing roughly JPY 60 billion in assets and has invested in or supported more than 100 companies.
