Venture Café Tokyo is an innovation community, not an investment firm. It brings together founders, investors, researchers, corporates, students and government through free programs. It was established in 2018 at Toranomon Hills as the first Asian location of the Venture Café network, which began at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC). Its main program is the weekly Thursday Gathering at CIC Tokyo. It also runs regional programs in Tsukuba, Nagoya, Gifu, Yokohama and Osaka.
