About
Alexander Uttendorfer is a founder, venture investor and go-to-market mentor. He led the Founder Institute program in Korea in 2023-2024, supporting early-stage startups, and has been listed as a go-to-market mentor with Founder Institute since 2023. Earlier he founded and ran Seoulian (2016-2019), through which he worked on international marketing for the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics. He was a venture investor at Sunbo Angel Partners in 2020 and CEO of Koboom from 2020 to 2022. Public profiles also list him as a venture partner at the venture studio Relevant (2023-2026) and as a guest lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and Korea University. Alexander brings a founder-investor perspective on go-to-market strategy, international expansion, cross-border marketing and investor readiness. Running an accelerator program and mentoring founders gives him direct exposure to how early-stage teams prepare to enter new markets and raise capital. Alexander is particularly relevant to conversations around go-to-market planning, entering Korea and other Asian markets, international marketing, and raising money across borders.
