About
Kevin Leung is a hardware founder from Hong Kong who started Muku Labs, the company behind Muku Shuttr, a Bluetooth remote shutter for smartphone cameras. The product was funded on Kickstarter in 2013, where a September 2013 report said it raised more than US$94,000 from over 2,500 backers against a US$10,000 goal. The same report described him as head of Muku Labs and quoted him on dealer and distributor interest and on the work of shipping about 3,000 units in two months. In 2014 the Hong Kong tech outlet Unwire interviewed him twice, on using Kickstarter to fund a product and on starting a company in Hong Kong. In April and May 2014 the Founder Institute listed him, as CEO of Muku Labs, among the mentors for its Hong Kong chapter.
