Sho Sato is a game industry consultant and ecosystem builder serving as Founder and CEO at LUDiMUS Inc., a Tokyo firm that supports the international expansion of games and other content industries. A graduate of Kyoto University and Thunderbird School of Global Management, he worked at a game industry organisation in Jordan and then spent more than five years as chief analyst at Media Create, writing its emerging markets game business report. He is co-founder and Secretary General of indie Game incubator (iGi), set up in 2021, has chaired the IGDA Incubation SIG since 2024, and advises the So-Fu game accelerator of Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Sho brings an analyst and incubator-operator perspective on overseas expansion, emerging game markets, indie game incubation, and international partnerships. His work gives him direct exposure to how small studios prepare for foreign markets and how incubators and accelerators in different countries support them. Sho is particularly relevant to conversations around taking games and content overseas, emerging-market entry, publishing and localisation partnerships, and building incubation programmes for creative industries.
