GOLDEN EGG Ventures serve as the general partner of EggFORWARD for GOLDEN EGG Investment Limited Partnership No. 1. Our aim is to build an ecosystem in which ambitious startups aiming to solve social issues can be born and nurtured by utilizing the knowledge we have cultivated through our experience in management/organization consulting with a track record of serving over 1,000 companies and our overseas network of over 300 companies to serve as a bridge between domestic and international startups and large corporations.

We have 11 financial institutions, 11 business companies, and 8 other individual investors participating, and have already begun investing in a number of startups both in Japan and overseas.

① Corporate transformation consulting expertise

We invest in a wide range of startups aiming to solve social issues, and generously provide the management/organization consulting knowledge we have cultivated while supporting the corporate transformation of over 1,000 companies and multiple unicorn companies. By providing support to entrepreneurs and management teams according to the growth phase, as well as business development and organizational issues, we will realize discontinuous value co-creation.

② Promoting open innovation with local and large companies

We will leverage our extensive network with local governments and regional financial institutions, as well as our experience supporting many major companies, to create numerous collaborations and synergies that combine the strengths of each organization.

*The only VC to have signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with Shibuya Ward aimed at co-creating a startup ecosystem, combining government and private sector knowledge to promote Shibuya Ward's pioneering initiatives ahead of other cities.

In conventional consulting support, it was challenging to get involved with startups that have limited investment capacity, making it arduous to support them in achieving sustainable, medium- to long-term corporate growth. Therefore, we take the initiative to invest in and offer consulting assistance to startups committed to addressing societal challenges, with the objective of enhancing their value over the medium to long term.

③ Building a bridge with overseas (supporting the global expansion of domestic startups/supporting overseas startups entering the Japanese market)

We have members with ample overseas experience, including former overseas managers at major VCs, and have our own sourcing routes with over 300 overseas VCs and partners around the world. We provide support for domestic startups expanding overseas, and overseas startups expanding into Asia, including Japan, from both a business and organizational perspective.
